   Honorary president and founder of the International Yoga Teachers' Association in Brazil since 1975.

   Life Member of the Indian Academy of Yoga with its headquarters in Benares, in India (1981).

    Treasurer of the Women's Network of the Paulista Association against Cancer from 1947 to 1954.
  Representative of the International Yoga Teachers' Association (I.Y.T.A.) for Brazil and South America, with is headquarters in Australia. President of the Brazilian branch till 1980. International vice-president creating branches in Porto Rico, Chile, Spain and England.
   Founder of the Brazil-India Friendship Society in 1986 which aims at cultural exchange between the two countries.
  Organizer and coordinator of several workshops, congresses and conventions about Yoga both in Brazil and India.
  Organizer of the Ahimsa Awareness Movement (non-violence) - 1981.
   Organizer of cultural trips to India.
   Founder of the “Yogashala” course centre in Macatuba, São Paulo, 2002.
   For 18 years disciple of Prof. Nundo Lall Kundu (Kulacarya Virananda Giri), M.A. Vice-Principal and Head of the Department of Logic and Philosophy of Maharaja Marindra Chandra College - Calcutta.
